Beatler and Lion

There has been quite a bit change in the last 7 days, not just Beatport re-launching their new site but also the release of Mac OS X Lion.

A few fixes are required in order for Beatler to run happily under Lion. These fixes are included in version 1.5.2 of Beatler which is available now to non Mac App Store users via the in-app update process.

If you are using the Mac App Store version of Beatler, the 1.5.2 update has been submitted and is currently in review by Apple. So hopefully it should be available in the next couple of days.

Update 1 – The MAS version has now been approved.

Beatler and the New Beatport Site

With Beatport launching their new site they have moved a few things around. Which means Beatler can’t access some important URLs.

Please check out the following forum post for a workaround…

There shall be a new release in the next day or so containing this fix.

Beatler 1.5.1 Now Available

Just a short post to let you know that Beatler 1.5.1 is now available via the Mac App Store and the in-app update process.  This release provides the following fixes:

[FIXED] Scoller position for the tracks table view was not going back to the top when selecting a different release.
[FIXED] Of Interest un-viewed indicator image alignment.
[FIXED] Restored PPC support.
[FIXED] Beatler could playback 2 tracks at once for a short period when scanning/jumping quickly through tracks.
[FIXED] The Of Interest option for checking for updates every hour has been removed. This is because releases are only added to the system once a day and this was causing some issues where Beatler would not always detect new releases.
[FIXED] The Mac App Store version of Beatler was limiting the number of items that could be imported when syncing with your Beatport crate.

[FIXED]
